History of Career Colleges of America

The school was established
in 1988 to provide entry-level training in various
career opportunities. The College was purchased in 1991,
and its name was changed to Career Colleges of America,
which is a “dba” of CCA Educorp.

Additional vocational
programs have since been
implemented in order to satisfy increasing
demands of the industry.

Career Colleges of America opened
its San Bernardino Campus in 1994 and its Los Angeles Campus in
2003.
- On December 14, 1999, Career Colleges of
America
received full accreditation from the Accrediting Council for
Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) and is subject to ongoing
review by this national accrediting agency.
- The Surgical
Technology program is also accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
The Vocational Nurse program is also accredited by the California
Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
